N. William Jarvis
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jarvis is President & Chief Executive Officer, a member of the board of LCI since 2017, and has been with the company in a variety of executive positions for over 20 years. Before joining Lockhart, Mr. Jarvis served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of WETA’s Greater Washington Broadcast Group, managing the television and radio stations, cable-Internet ventures, fundraising, and communications of this Washington, DC-based public broadcaster. Before WETA, Mr. Jarvis was a partner with the law firm of Baker & Hostetler, LLP, specializing in business, real estate, and media law. Mr. Jarvis is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, and earned his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Jarvis is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Sigma Pi Phi Epsilon Boulé. During his professional career, Mr. Jarvis has served on the boards of the Medstar Washington Hospital Center (including two terms as Chairperson), the University of Virginia Alumni Association (including a term as Chairperson), Fidelity and Trust Bank, and City First Bank of DC.
Gershwain A. Sprauve
President of Lockhart Realty
Mr. Sprauve is President & Chief Executive Officer of Lockhart Realty. A native of St. Thomas, USVI, Mr. Sprauve holds a BS Degree in Business Administration, is certified as an Accredited Claims Adjuster, an Insurance Appraiser, and an Insurance Umpire. He devotes significant time to community service in the Virgin Islands through volunteer services to noteworthy civic and non-profit organizations. Currently, Mr. Sprauve serves as Treasurer of the Rotary Club St. Thomas East, and a member of the Board of Directors of The Forum.
Raymond L. Fournier
President of Lockhart Insurance and Lockhart Finance
Mr. Fournier is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lockhart Insurance, also serving as President of the company’s insurance companies. Mr. Fournier, a native of Puerto Rico, received a BA degree in economics and finance from Clark University, and trained in reinsurance at the Munich Reinsurance Company, Munich, Germany; Scor Reinsurance, Paris, France; Cologne Reinsurance Company, Cologne, Germany; and D.G. Durham Ltd., at Lloyd’s of London.
Octavio Estrada
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Estrada is the Chief Financial Officer of LCI, also serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Guardian Insurance Company since 1996. Mr. Estrada received a BBA degree in accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, and is a certified public accountant, licensed in Puerto Rico. Prior to working for Guardian, Mr. Estrada was a Senior Auditor with the public accounting firm of Laventhol & Horwath in Puerto Rico.
Robert J. Upson
Deputy Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Upson is Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of LCI, also serving as Chief Financial Officer for Lockhart Realty and Lockhart Finance. Mr. Upson holds a BS Degree in Chemistry from The Evergreen State College and a Masters in Math Teaching from Portland State University. He holds Certified Public Accounting licenses in the US Virgin Islands and Oregon. As past-President of the Virgin Islands Society of CPAs, Mr. Upson represented the territory for the American Institute of CPAs from 2013 to 2019. Mr. Upson is an avid sailor and past Treasurer of the St. Thomas Yacht Club. He is current Treasurer of the Caribbean Genealogy Library.
