N. William Jarvis
Chairman of the Board of Directors
Mr. Jarvis is President & Chief Executive Officer, a member of the board of LCI since 2017, and has been with the company in a variety of executive positions for over 20 years. Before joining Lockhart, Mr. Jarvis served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of WETA’s Greater Washington Broadcast Group, managing the television and radio stations, cable-Internet ventures, fundraising, and communications of this Washington, DC-based public broadcaster. Before WETA, Mr. Jarvis was a partner with the law firm of Baker & Hostetler, LLP, specializing in business, real estate, and media law. Mr. Jarvis is a graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, and earned his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Jarvis is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Sigma Pi Phi Epsilon Boulé. During his professional career, Mr. Jarvis has served on the boards of the Medstar Washington Hospital Center (including two terms as Chairperson), the University of Virginia Alumni Association (including a term as Chairperson), Fidelity and Trust Bank, and City First Bank of DC.
Kaj D. Goldberg
Mr. Goldberg, a member of the Lockhart family, is a native of Los Angeles, California. After obtaining his degree in communications from the University of San Francisco, he began working in the film and television industry, rising quickly through the ranks of Fox TV, Paramount Television, and MTV as a studio executive. But, due to Mr. Goldberg’s love of news and broadcasting, he gave up his studio career to pursue journalism. In this new capacity, Mr. Goldberg began with CBS News in Palm Springs, California before moving to the ABC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona, as the weather anchor/reporter. Mr. Goldberg is now an on-air weather reporter with the Los Angeles-based KTLA-TV’s weather team.
James Hodge
Mr. Hodge, a native Virgin Islander, serves as a senior executive within a US government agency, overseeing audit and financial engagement activities. He also holds adjunct positions at several institutions of higher education where he instructs upper-level undergraduate and graduate accounting courses. Before his government service, Mr. Hodge was an auditor and consultant at a public accounting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Government Financial Manager. He earned his undergraduate and graduate business degrees from the University of Dayton.
Corinne M.L. Mills
Ms. Mills, a Lockhart family member, is Manager, Contracts and Procurement for The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she has worked for the past twelve years. Ms. Mills received her BA from the University of Virginia.
Peter C. Schultz, Ph.D
Dr. Schultz is co-inventor of the fiber optics now used worldwide for telecommunications. He is an internationally-recognized and awarded scientist for his technical achievements. Dr. Schultz is an inductee into the National Inventors Hall of Fame, received the National Medal of Technology from President Bill Clinton (the highest technology award of the US government), and has been elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering. He is an expert in fiber optic technology (including telecommunication fibers and both terrestrial and undersea deployment, as well as specialty fibers for sensors) and general materials technology. Since 2001, Dr. Schultz has provided technical and business consulting services to numerous international companies and served as an expert witness. In the US Virgin Islands, Dr. Schultz served as a director, and advisor (2010 to present) and Interim CEO (March through September 2016) of viNGN (Virgin Islands Next Generation Network), a government-owned, open access all-fiber telecom system in the US Virgin Islands. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and the MIT Sloan School Senior Executive Program. He holds 26 patents, has written over 22 research papers, and is the recipient of numerous other awards, including the American Innovator Award (1995) presented by Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, and the Czech Gold Medal for Achievement (2002) presented by President Václav Havel.
Oren Stephen
Mr. Stephen is a native Virgin Islander, a Lockhart family member, and currently a principal with ISL Commercial, a commercial real estate brokerage based in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Stephen has a successful track record of selling and leasing single-tenant net leased retail properties, retail strip centers, office buildings, and industrial warehouses. He is a graduate of Duquesne University with a degree in Business Management and played Division 1 singles and doubles on Duquesne’s tennis team. Mr. Stephen began his commercial real estate career in the Washington, DC office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, then transitioned to office, industrial and retail investment properties in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia before settling in Florida.
Wesley H. (Bo) Williams
Mr. Williams, a Lockhart family member, is the Head of Aquarian Credit Partners, the syndicated high-yield credit investment arm of New York-based insurance holding company Aquarian Holdings. Prior to Aquarian, Mr. Williams worked at Hildene Leveraged Credit, as Co-Founder/Portfolio Manager; Goldman Sachs affiliates, as an Operating Partner; Marathon Asset Management, as VP in Leveraged Finance; and Goldman Sachs, as Analyst and Associate in Merchant/Investment Banking. Mr. Williams received his BA from Harvard College and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Carole K. Crawford
Carole K. Crawford is a seasoned finance and investment executive with over 25 years of experience guiding family office enterprises through growth, governance, and generational transition. As Founder and Managing Director of fincap360, she advises family offices, foundations, and portfolio companies on strategy, capital development, governance, and innovation. In the past, Ms. Crawford served as Managing Director for the Americas at CFA Institute, leading strategy and global regulatory engagement, and served at Morgan Stanley in wealth and institutional investment management. She serves on the board of 100 Women in Finance, previously held governance roles with CFA Society New York and CFA Institute’s Capital Markets Policy Council, and has been named a Forbes 50 Over 50 honoree.
